Description: Google Presentations (part of Google Docs) allows users to create online presentations or upload existing PowerPoint or OpenOffice presentation. Once uploaded users can share and collaborate in real time. When sharing, you can control who can see or edit your presentation. In addition, you can edit and access if from anywhere via the network, and since it's stored remotely you won't risk losing it from your hard drive.

Online/Download: Online mostly but they have recently developed an offline application that allows you to edit presentations when not on the internet. The application is both Mac and Windows compatible.
